Now Offering 9th-12th Grades!
During the 2014-2015 school year, The Piedmont School launched a unique online 9th grade facilitated on The Piedmont School campus. Since then we have taken the success of that model and turned it into a blended model of tradition core classes (English, Math, History, Science, PE) and online elective classes.
9th-12th graders take a combination of traditional style courses in a 1:6 teacher to student ratio classroom while also completing elective courses online. The online courses are taught through online instructors with K12/FuelEducation and also Founders Education, but students have an on campus facilitator and mentor at TPS to provide extra reinforcement for technological support, organization, and clarification. The online course models also provide unique opportunities for our high school students to complete courses over the summer as well as credit recovery options if needed. The online course offerings allow versatility in our high school schedules and further allow us to individualize curriculum for each student.
The high school program, like all other academic programs at TPS, is geared towards meeting the needs of students with ADHD and/or other specific learning differences. The program is housed on campus at The Piedmont School and taught/facilitated by TPS faculty members. Limited spaces are available.
