Currently, in his first year as School Counselor at TPS & JYA, Terry Aiken is dedicated to developing students into successful adults. With over 30 years of experience as a global social changer and motivator, Terry has consistently worked to implement, develop, and evaluate life situations for organizations, communities, and individuals. His passion lies in guiding others toward living healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives. He firmly believes that average people can achieve great things when driven by a passion to fulfill their purpose and provide value to others, both professionally and personally.
A proud graduate of High Point College (Class of '86) and the American Humanics Graduate Program, Terry received his counseling certification in 1991 through the State of North Carolina and the NC Justice Academy. His extensive experience as a community servant includes leadership roles with esteemed organizations such as Family Service of the Piedmont, Family Service of High Point Foundation, United Way of Greater High Point, Developmental Daycare, and the High Point Historical Society.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Terry is a connoisseur of classic movies and enjoys cooking and savoring Italian foods with family and friends. His travels to Germany, Australia, Canada, Italy, and across the U.S. have enriched his experiences, making this Brooklyn-born Yankees fan a true renaissance man.
